autumn fall scarf

so here it is as promised the pattern ive been working on , will admit i put this to one side for about  3 months while i worked on other things but eventually got round to finishing it .

it was meant with good intentions to be a afghan but ended up  turning it into a scarf because i really needed one this autumn and id already made 30 squares !!

Materials needed;

4.5mm hook

5.5mm hook

stylecraft special dk in green and purple.

sewing needle.

Granny Square (make 30 squares )

with purple

1. 8 sc in magic ring using a 4.5mm hook

2. chain 3 , *3 treble in next stitch (corner made), chain 1 , 1 sc in next stitch* , repeat around*, with the 3 treble creating the corners , ss in last stitch.

3. chain 3 ,* 2 treble , ch2 , 2 treble in next stitch ( first corner made) , ch1 , 1 treble in next 2 chain spaces * repeat from * to * 3 more times , ss in last stitch .

fasten off and add new color to corner stitch using a 5.5 mm hook, with green ;

4. ch1 ,* 3 treble ,ch2, 2 treble in same stitch (first corner made) , ch1 , 1 treble in next 3 stitches * follow this around 3 more time ss to last stitch
 

fasten off.

Border and construction.

Sew together the squares and weave in the ends.

Attach purple yarn to corner stitch of scarf and chain 3 , 1 treble in each stitch around , chaining 3 at each corner.

Fasten off.
